Terms of service

These are the terms you agree to when you book an appointment or buy a membership. They are written to be read, not to be survived.

Booking

Who we are: Purpose Skin Motion LLC, Savannah, Georgia 31419. Services are performed by a licensed esthetician under the laws of the State of Georgia.
Requests, then confirmation: A booking is a request until we confirm it. You are told either way, and nothing is charged for a request we cannot take.
Deposit: A non-refundable $50 deposit is required to book. It holds your appointment. Because it is non-refundable it is stated here, on /policies, and before you pay it.
Cancellation: Please give at least 24 hours. Inside that window, the full service price is charged. A missed appointment with no call is charged the full service price.
Running late: There is a 10-minute grace period. Beyond it the appointment is shortened to protect the booking after yours, and the full price still applies.
Mobile appointments: Let Purpose Skin Motion bring the luxury experience to you. Mobile appointments require a $150 minimum, with an additional travel fee quoted at booking based on your location and appointment time.
We may need to move you: Rarely, and we will tell you as early as we can. If we cancel, your deposit is refunded or carried to the new time, your choice.

Payment

Prices: As published on /menu at the time you book. Prices can change, but never for an appointment already booked.
How you pay: Card payments are handled by Stripe on their own secure checkout. We never see or store your card number.
Promotions: Introductory and prebooking offers are as described where they appear. Unless it says so, offers do not combine with each other or with a membership rate.
Refunds on services: Esthetic treatments are performed services and are not refundable once given. If something was not right, tell us promptly and we will put it right.

Memberships

What they are: A recurring monthly subscription, from $109/month. Billing starts on the day you join and repeats monthly on the same date until cancelled.
Billing: Taken automatically by Stripe from the card you provide. A failed payment is retried; if it keeps failing, the membership pauses.
Using your benefits: Membership benefits are booked like any other appointment and are subject to availability, so book early in the month rather than late.
Changing or cancelling: Confirmed with you in writing when you join. Notice period, whether an unused month carries forward, and any minimum term are set out there rather than assumed here.

Your skin, and the limits of this

Tell us the truth: Medications, allergies, recent procedures and skin conditions change what is safe. Nothing is judged; it only changes what is recommended. Withholding it is the one thing that can genuinely cause harm.
We may decline: A treatment can be changed or declined on the day if it is not right for your skin. That is a safeguard, not a formality, and your deposit carries to a suitable alternative.
This is not medical care: Esthetic services care for the appearance and condition of skin. They are not medical treatment, and nothing offered here diagnoses or treats a medical condition. For anything medical, see a physician.
No guaranteed outcome: Skin responds differently to the same treatment in different people. We will tell you honestly what to expect and will not promise a result.
Liability: Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service it relates to.

General

This website: Our name, marks, photographs and words are ours. Please do not reproduce them commercially without asking.
Changes: These terms can change. The version that applies to your appointment is the one published when you booked it, and the date at the top tells you which that was.
Governing law: The laws of the State of Georgia.
If something goes wrong: Tell us first — see support. Almost everything is solved with a conversation, and we would rather have it than not.
